The
day after Thanksgiving, we started handing out the next #LIGHTtheWORLD
Christmas pass-a-long cards. I preferred Restoration tracting because it
is a lot easier to get into their doors. But there has been some
success with the cards. We went to a grocery store in Hammond while we
were going down to the church with all the other missionaries in the
district, and we ran into Elder Moody(one of the senior couples) as he
was on his way out. We grabbed the forgotten ingredient for making
pizza, and then we went to check out. While we were checking out, the
cashier asked us if we were Mormons, and then proceeded to show us the
#LIGHTtheWORLD card that was given to him only a few minutes prior from
Elder Moody. The Cashier said that he will definitely watch it now :)
It's one of those just really funny things that motivates me. A few
months ago, I gave out a Restoration pamphlet to a guy at Walmart names
Amos and told him that there was a scripture in there that was from the
book of Amos. We talked to him a few times after that.
Shout out to Sister Scott for placing a Spanish #ILUMINAelMUNDO card to a spanish woman in Independence.
It has been raining the past few days, and people think that we are crazy for tracting out in this weather.
Also, my camera just died so, next week, there will be pictures!
Also, if you are going to my Mom's wedding, I will be skyping in, so feel free to say Hi!
